Printing your planner should be the easy part. Whether you’re using our free online planner or one of our printable PDF planner packs, here’s how to get crisp, perfectly sized pages every time.
Step 1: Fill in your planner online
Start by filling in your planner right in your browser — it’s fully responsive, so it works beautifully on phones and tablets too. Everything you type stays on your device, so your plans stay private.
Step 2: Click Print / Save as PDF
When your planner looks just right, click the “Print / Save PDF” button. Your browser’s print dialog will open with a preview of your pages.
Step 3: Choose your paper size
All of our planners are designed for US Letter (8.5×11″) and A4 paper. In the print dialog, select the paper size that matches what you have loaded, and set the scale to 100% (not “Fit to page”) so nothing gets shrunk.
For our printable PDF planners, open the PDF in your reader, hit Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac), and choose your paper size the same way.
Tips for a perfect print
Print in color or grayscale. Our planners look great in full color, but they print beautifully in grayscale too — perfect if you want to save ink.
Keep a digital copy. Choose “Save as PDF” as your printer destination to save a digital copy before you print. Handy for archiving or reprinting later.
Print single-sided first. If you’re new to binding, print single-sided so ink never shows through.
Use cardstock for covers. Print your favorite cover page on cardstock for a sturdier finished planner.
Binding ideas
Once your pages are printed, turn them into a real planner:
3-ring binder: Punch holes and drop pages into any standard binder — the easiest option.
Discbound: A discbound punch lets you add, remove, and rearrange pages whenever you like.
Stapled booklet: For short planners, fold and staple along the spine for a simple booklet.
